Slate Floor Cleaning

Slate floors can be some of the most attractive natural stone flooring available, with the wide variation of colours and textures. The main problem can be when the flooring gets soiled and all the wonderful features are hidden, as clearly shown in the before photographs shown below.

Floors Restored offer a comprehensive cleaning and treatment service, which incorporates the latest cleaning solutions and techniques. Firstly, with the application of our unique range of Residue Removers , and using various grades of brushes/pads and agitation and extraction machinery we clean deep down in to the slate and grouting. 

Then after the clean by using a unique blend of natural vegetable oils, Natural Stone Conditioner will reinstate the stones natural oils and enhance and bring out the natural colours of the slate. Then the application of Slate Sealer binds to the stone, applies a protective, hard wearing and extremely durable natural finish.  This process enhances the stone, allows it to breath naturally, and assists in keeping the surface free from daily dirt and grease build up.

The photographs clearly show the results achieved, Floors Restored offer either Care and Maintenance products to be used by the clients themselves or Maintenance agreements for Floors Restored to come on site at agreed periods to clean and reapply treatments to ensure that the floor always looks good at all times.
